Boris

Former gatekeeper of Susarro’s residence, we caught up with Boris in a Prague restaurant and found out what has been happening since we last saw him…

Nice to see you again Boris- what have you been up to then?

Oooh, this and that- my wife and children, they have been keeping me busy you know. Weather it be amusing my children or making it up to my wife with flowers, rchocolates and lies. One thing is for certain though- things took a turn for the better once I left the guard of Susarro.

Oh- what has happened then?
Well I am now senior guard for an important insurance company in Prague- they didn’t mind me not having any references from my previous “work”; they were simply impressed with my faboulas people skills, though perhaps not my spelling and literature.

Sounds like you have regrets over your time working under Susarro?
Well, wouldn’t you have had regrets? Having to stand at those gates in the rain and the freezing wind night after night after night with nothing more than my sheepskin, my fur hat and rifle for company? All I had to look forwards to was the hideous vegetable soup they sent me out at mid-night, and I dreaded that most of the time.

Fair points Boris- so what exactly happened at Susarro’s residence?
I’m not entirely sure- one minute, the boss was limping around the place as he always did, and then he flew off in a helicopter- that was the last anybody saw of him here. Then we get wind of rumours that the boss is dead- the next thing we know the police are swarming the place! I didn’t hang around, I just ran. Mmmmm! This pizza, it’s quite tasty no?

Yes, it’s delightful. So did you ever realize that you may have been working for a criminal?
I had no idea at all- of course, there were always suspicions about what was going on behind those gates, but I was paid to guard the gates and no more. Anyway, after the police ransacked the place and brought out evidence of foul play, they immediately began searching for the boss and his lady friend, Petra. Unfortunately, neither has been seen since. I believe that the rumours about the boss’s death are probably true. As for the lady? She probably met a sticky end as well. But the biggest shock was yet to come- the real criminal was still in the castle!!

Who???
The chef- he cooked awful meals, I always had my doubts- the police brought him out- apparently he was wanted for the planned poisoning of several colleagues he used to work with in his native homeland- he had been on the run ever since. Aaah, I always knew there was something… Fishy… About that man. But this food here… Mmmmm… Have you tasted the garlic bread? Waiter- we shall have another bottle of wine, thank you.

Thanks for the catch up Boris. All the best!
Thank you!
